Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Design experience using Creo / Pro-E
5-7 years of mechanical design experience
Design experience with cabinets, server racks, and enclosures
Basic knowledge of fabrication methods
Ability to develop BOMs for products (fasteners, fastener torques)
Knowledge of heat exchangers and wire harnesses is an advantage; ability to design different configurations of power distribution units, cables Responsibilities :
Responsible for design upgrades and new designs for rack mounts, cabinet, and enclosures
Develop list of materials, assist with material selection, and design specifications (fastener torques, selection of fasteners, acceptable tolerances, etc.)
Perform testing and validation of designs
Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and design reviews, to support project milestones and compliance standards.
