What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Technician - Second Shift position at SoloPoint Solutions, Inc.?
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is an advantage (not required)
Experience with mechanical testing and troubleshooting. School projects with robotics, race vehicles is transferrable
Must be able to work in a clean room environment
Experience calibrating and troubleshooting stages, motors, swapping out failed boards, etc.
Ability to use mechanical hand tool such as torque wrenches and calipers
Responsibilities :
Perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at system level
Determine and may develop methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams
Test and troubleshoot assemblies and / or final systems, and complete rework on assemblies and / or systems as a result of testing.
