Description
Prepare the production schedule, coordinate work efforts, and make suggestions regarding staffing or material issues that could make an impact on scheduling. Work with customer service to coordinate changes to schedules. Align production efforts, engineering, and materials to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and maintain schedules for production, service, and engineering efforts.
- Direct work efforts and offer suggestions for parallel path efforts to surge capacity.
- Attend meetings to understand scope of work and provide recommendations on scheduling and lead times.
- Review service orders for completion and coordinate appropriate scheduling across departments.
- Supporting re-prioritization requests, working with appropriate departments to ensure communication of urgent customer needs.
- Understanding capacity by department to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
