About the Role:
We are seeking a professional and reliable Waitstaff/Dishwasher to join our team at Solstice Senior Living at Mesa View. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment and provide excellent service to our residents. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. As a Waitstaff Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the satisfaction and well-being of our residents. Your main responsibility will be dishwashing with waitstaff in an as needed basis. This is a part time position, nights and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Food handler's permit
- Experience working in a senior living or healthcare environment
- Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dishwashing area
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and plating as needed
- Ensure all dishes and utensils are properly stored and organized
- Provide excellent service to residents and staff
Skills:
As a Waitstaff Dishwasher, you will utilize your strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Your excellent communication and customer service skills will be essential in providing excellent service to our residents and staff. Additionally, your ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen staff and assist with food preparation and plating as needed will be critical to your success in this role. Operating commercial kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment will also be important skills utilized in your daily work.
