We are looking for a Manager of Operations and Technology. This is a direct hire opportunity based out of Manhattan Beach, CA (Hybrid).
The Manager of Operations and Technology will play a key role in the business, responsible for driving technology-enabled operational excellence across the internal organization. This role partners cross-functionally to understand business needs, optimize processes, tools, and systems, and ensure business processes and tools optimize results, with efficient, scalable, and insight-driven operations.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of proven success and expanding responsibilities in similar capacities.
- Proficient with Salesforce.com, administrator experience highly preferred.
- Experience evaluating, implementing, and managing new systems and tools
- Familiarity with a professional service business is a plus.
- General curiosity or experience with Generative AI tools.
Tech-Enabled Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day company operations, with a focus on delivering optimized infrastructure for cross-functional business and office needs.
- Internal Project Management - Led cross-functional initiatives related to key system and process changes.
- Special Projects - Act as a thought partner to support operations and technology initiatives. The Current focus area includes evaluating and piloting AI tools. Prior examples include scaling internal technologies, streamlining document management, and coordinating office relocation efforts.
- Leadership - Manage Operations Associate and coordinate with back-office leaders to ensure seamless internal support, with a creative problem-solving and service-oriented approach.
- Partner with the Business Development team to ensure Salesforce.com effectively supports sales and client management objectives - tracking, reporting, communications, and process efficiencies.
- Lead CRM projects such as system rollouts, light configuration, data clean-up, and enhancements. Partner with vendors to manage complex initiatives.
- Support user adoption and training, and act as a go-to resource for inquiries and continuous improvement.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure all tools and systems enable critical business needs across functions.
- Own relationships with external vendors, evolve systems capabilities and lead procurement efforts for new tools and services as needed. Ensure service levels meet company expectations, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions proactively.
- Work with users to ensure effective training and utilization, supporting ad-hoc requests, and continuous improvement.
- Core systems and tools include, but are not limited to:
- Office 365 Suite
- Document Management: SharePoint
- Business Development and Client Management: Salesforce, Apollo.io, LinkedIn SalesNav
- Marketing: Website WP Engine, Constant Contact, Adobe Creative Suite
- Talent: Target Recruit (Salesforce platform)
- User Support - Oversee third-party helpdesk to ensure quality user support and cybersecurity monitoring. Provide on-site ad-hoc user support as needs arise. As needed, support independent consultants on client-related systems inquiries while delivering on the client projects, such as email and document access.
- Office - Oversee physical office setup and organization, including employee desks, conference room AV, phone systems, Wi-Fi, supplies, etc. Manage related vendors. Act as building liaison, coordinating with building management for facility needs.
- Devices - Manage procurement, configuration, and lifecycle management of employee hardware (laptops, monitors, phones).

Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $90,000 to $106,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
