Solugenix is assisting a client, a prestigious and large investment management company in their search for a Senior Contract Specialist. This is a 12 month contract opportunity based out of Irvine, CA / San Antonio, TX (Remote / Hybrid).
The Senior Contract Specialist provides support to the Strategic Sourcing department, which provides services to the Client Group business areas within Client Group on an enterprise level. Strategic Sourcing collaborates closely with internal customers and partners to understand business requirements for goods and services and to fulfill those needs; this includes marketing, data / analytics, digital, investment management, consulting, professional services, print, and more. The Senior Contract Specialist will focus on the administration, management, and negotiation of a broad range of sourcing projects and contracts.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Requires a minimum of 5-6 years of advanced contracting / sourcing experience with mastery of strategic and tactical procurement principles, practices, and models.
- Ability to work effectively with customers, partners (e.g. business, IT, Legal, Risk, etc.), and Suppliers to deliver consistently excellent results and value for stakeholders.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and change while working in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage individual project timelines and drive completion of projects under limited supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills to all audience levels, including the ability to effectively conduct complex project / program meetings and influence others.
- Experience in other disciplines is highly preferred but not required (e.g., Finance, Operations, Technology, etc.).
Responsibilities :
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC : $68.97 / hour to $68.97 / hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and / or experience.
