Supervisor CT Scan

About the Job:
Performs all aspects of the CT exam and carries out supervisory and administrative duties to support the operation of the Cat Scan and Nuclear Medicine departments. Provides compassion and comfort to all patients.
What Youll Do:
- Performs all CT exams according to department protocols.
- Supervises, motivates, and leads others.
- Communicates effectively with others within the department as well as outside of the department.
- Demonstrates proficiency with computer systems such as RIS and PACS
- Respects confidential nature of patient information and abides by HIPAA laws and regulations.
- Resolves conflicts with patients and/or family members in a timely manner.
- Uses patient safety equipment effectively to move patients. Utilizes lead shields and aprons when appropriate.
Who You Are:
- Completion of two years of Radiology Technology training in an AMA approved school to meet the requirement for registry by the ARRT or equivalent training required.
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- ARRT(CT) certification or obtained within 1 year of hire date.
- State of New Hampshire Board of Medical Imagining License required.
- 3 to 5 years of advanced CT experience required.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
