Supervisor PET/CT & Nuclear Medicine

About the Job:
Performs all aspects of PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine Imaging Studies and carries out supervisory and administrative duties to support the operation of the PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine departments. Provides compassion and comfort to all patients.
What Youll Do:
Reviews patient medical information and reconciles physician requests with exams ordered
Completes essential documentation such as consents and questionnaires prior to beginning patients exam
Performs all aspects of PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine examinations including oncologic, orthopedic, cardiac, abdominal, lung and all other scans utilizing radiopharmaceutical imaging and/or therapy.
Inspects all images performed for quality and proper documentation. Presents completed images to Radiologist for interpretation
Assists Radiologist with invasive procedures as required
Prepares and administers isotopes related to the PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine studies according to department protocols
Who You Are:
Completion of two years of Nuclear Medicine training in an AMA approved school to meet the requirements for registry by the ARRT or NMTCB or equivalent training
ARRT(N) or CNMT certification from NMTCB
State of NH Board of Medical Imaging Licensure
NMTCB PET Certification preferred, but not required
Three Five years of general diagnostic Nuclear Medicine experience and PET/CT experience
