Job Details
We're seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to collaborate with our client's IT department and business units to ensure top-notch quality in our IT solutions. As a manual QA expert, you'll develop and implement QA standards, guidelines, and procedures to guarantee our cleint's solutions meet the highest quality standards. This will require someone to be on site every Tuesday and Wed in the downtown office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document comprehensive test plans and cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
- Execute test plans, analyze results, and present findings to stakeholders
- Identify and report defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
- Develop and maintain QA metrics and reports to measure testing effectiveness
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in quality assurance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years of relevant IT experience, within in a QA role
- Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working with QA tools and technologies (e.g., HP Quality Center, HP PPM)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and testing strategies
- Certification in software testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE)
