About the Job:
Reporting to the CNO, the Director will collaborate closely with the organization’s Chief Quality Officers and quality management support staff to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals. Additionally, the Director will oversee Nurse Program Coordinators to facilitate the smooth integration of quality accreditation into daily operations, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery. This position also includes the responsibility of ensuring that clinical operations adhere to regulatory requirements and program guidelines, thereby upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
What You’ll Do:
• Develops, in collaboration with leadership and quality management support, a roadmap to obtain quality or excellence designation for clinical services within assigned programs.
· Collaborates with multidisciplinary colleagues to monitor clinical care within assigned programs and ensures quality and excellence standards are met. Supports the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives based on assessed needs
· Works closely with clinical content leaders to implement policies, procedures, and evidence-based practice guidelines within assigned programs to achieve and maintain clinical quality or excellence certifications/designations.
• Provides comprehensive oversight of budgetary allocations for quality programs, monitoring expenditures related to staffing, supplies, and operational expenses. Develops and implements strategies to optimize resource utilization while maintaining program effectiveness. • Provides initial business case and proforma information on potential programs as needed. • Performs ongoing program evaluation. Establishes and monitors operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the quality program's impact on clinical operations, budgetary allocations, staffing levels, and supply utilization.
Who You Are:
Requirements:
· BSN and a Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field.
· Registered Nurse clinical license active in the state of New Hampshire.
· Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in healthcare quality, quality management and / or clinical program implementation.
· Background in managing budgets, resources, and operational expenses related to quality programs
