Position Overview
Are you passionate about research and occupational analysis, and eager to make a difference in the lives of U.S. military service members and veterans? SOLID is seeking an Occupational Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will conduct in-depth research on military and civilian occupations, perform job and task analyses, and identify skills gaps to support workforce development programs.
As an Occupational Analyst, you will collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders, contributing to solutions that empower military veterans to transition into rewarding civilian careers. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your analytical skills in a remote, flexible environment, where your work will have a direct impact on shaping the future of career development for U.S. service members and other workforce sectors.
Due to the military focus of much of our work, this position would be well suited for a military veteran or military spouse.
Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify trends, support project deliverables, and shape processes.
- Complete deliverables such as annual reviews, gap analyses, and task classifications.
- Perform data collection, entry, organization, and synthesis to support workforce development projects.
- Support all stages of research projects, from requirement gathering to final deliverables.
- Utilize content management systems for information gathering, editing, and publishing.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to meet project needs and provide regular progress updates.
- Prepare reports and summaries for weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc requests.
- Conduct research to address project needs, solve problems, and explore issues.
- Contribute to business development activities including research, proposals, and marketing efforts.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings; share project updates and information.
- Mentor and train other Analysts, assist with onboarding, and support staffing efforts.
- Perform additional duties as required.
