What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Facilitator- Full Time position at Solutions Recovery?
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Group Facilitator to join our team in a Dual Diagnosis Partial Hospitalization Program. Position is Full Time (5 days per week) .The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals struggling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and techniques for patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Monitor and document patient progress in therapy sessions and communicate findings to the treatment team
- Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for patients in group therapy sessions
- Ensure that group sessions start and end on time and that patients adhere to program guidelines
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed and collaborate with other team members to ensure that patients receive appropriate care
- Participate in team meetings and other clinical meetings as required
- Attend regular supervision and continuing education sessions to maintain professional growth and development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or a related field
- Experience facilitating group therapy sessions for patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
