POSITION DESCRIPTION: In this “player-coach” role, the Continuous Improvement Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of Continuous Improvement Process Specialists in the implementation and management of continuous improvement initiatives. The CI Supervisor will work closely with leaders across the organization to identify opportunities for improvement and will lead or assist with Kaizen and other problem-solving events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for continuous improvement and the ability to communicate and work collaboratively with all functions in the organization.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Define continuous improvement program objectives and scope
- Foster a Lean culture by partnering with teams across various departments to understand current processes and identify opportunities to create efficiency
- Support the implementation of changes within the organization to improve efficiency and productivity through a range of continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead, develop and mentor a team of CI Specialists, while managing team metrics and KPI’s
- Work in accordance with ensuring a safe work environment by maintaining compliance with company policies concerning health and safety, within and according to the Solve ISO9001:2015 QMS, as well as OSHA standards and maintain a site-wide 6S program
- Assist in driving the path for Kaizen related projects, paperwork and activities; help create and maintain standard work for processes
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- 3 years of overall warehouse/distribution center or manufacturing experience
- 1 years of people leadership experience
- Continuous improvement experience; specific experience with process/value stream mapping, knowledge of Lean manufacturing/Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and other management science principles
- Experience working with an ERP (preferably Epicor)
- Experience having worked in a high-volume, fast-paced production and distribution environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
- Experience working in the bearings and power transmission industry
