About the Role
The Billing Verification Specialist will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and resolving high-volume, complex customer accounts receivable, order entry exceptions, and disputes involving contractual agreements and non-standard billing agreements.
Main Responsibilities
- Initial Review and Analysis: Reviewing, analyzing, and reconciling initial Accounts Receivable and Order Entry exceptions to ensure accurate invoicing and prompt payment within Solventum business practice and time-sensitive guidelines.
- Extended Resolution Activities: Performing extended resolution activities on more complex exceptions and discrepancies, engaging with various departments such as Finance, National Contact Center, Contracts Area, and Solventum field staff to gather necessary transaction details and advance the resolution process.
- Professional Communication: Facilitating high-volume, professional-level communications with a broad spectrum of internal and external contacts, ensuring compliance with federal credit guidelines and Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory requirements.
- Transaction Research and Verification: Researching and verifying specific transactional information, including contractual stipulations, service dates, initial order entry information, purchase order details, and contract information like price breaks and volume commitment levels.
Requirements
- A high school diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution.
- Two years of experience with medical collections in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
