The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the Grouper Applications and Medical Necessity Business Manager you will develop and manage programs for the GAMN business and the Federal market.
Manage the day-to-day operations to include responsible for aligned business partner clients, financials, business analysis, contracts, pricing, and negotiations, support RFPs/RFIs with payers, providers, and federal, and business partners, oversee GAMN projects while responsible for aligned projects and facilitates meetings and tracks data points and processes. The candidate must be extremely organized, detail oriented, work collaboratively across teams and be able to multi-task. Primary responsibility includes:
- Responsible for the aligned business partner strategy, contracts, and engagements
- Responsible for business partner reports to include quarterly reviews, tracking invoicing and revenue. Conducts quarterly and annual revenue forecasting and compares to actuals providing analysis. Works with finance and account executives to determine forecasting analysis. Responsible for business partner quarterly reporting
- Works with the compliance team to assist in reviewing business partner quarterly reports and providing recommendations for negotiations w/clients as required
- Works with finance to review previous, current and upcoming monthly and quarterly financial analysis to include revenue, contract receipts, renewals, cancellations, credits, and compliance.
- Responsible for GAMN business bowlers to include completing, conducting analysis on revenue, contract receipts, profit margin, pipeline, and other associated metrics
- Negotiates contracts to include contract language and pricing
- Assumes lead for business operation projects as directed
- Supports RFP/RFIs and associated milestones and pricing for GAMN
- Works with legal on contracting language providing business recommendations to GAMN director and in some aeras responsible for representing the business director
- Responsible for CMRs aligned to business manager and representing business director as required
- Ensure operations of the teams are delivering on established goals and objectives. Responsible for all team meetings to include scheduling, agenda, minutes, due outs, knowledge management. Tracks business due outs to ensure suspense’s are meet
- Responsible for other business actions as required and serves as a POC for RAPs, BPs, Payers, FMS, among others
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role, Solventum requires (minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution and a minimum of 12 years of experience in Data Analytics in lieu of the bachelor’s degree education requirement)
- Seven (7) years of healthcare software industry experience
- Two (2) years of experience in business operations and management
- Two (2) years in analytics
In addition to the above requirements, the following are required:
- Business Analytic Skills to understand the data, create information and enable and help guide recommendations, decisions and strategy
- Experience in data visualization, data "story telling" that support and enable recommendations, decisions, tracking decisions and programs and routinely realigning
- Understanding Business Operations to include financials, pricing, cost benefit analysis, contracting, and other associated business operations
- Must be able to brief clients on GAMN, content, and overview of our business
- Comfortable conducting negotiations with clients
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Ability to run meetings, provide oversight and minutes, and oversee outstanding tasks
- Ability to lead direct projects to include cross sectional teams within and outside the business
- Preferred 8 years of combined experience working with software application development, product management, product marketing.
- In-depth knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- HIM understanding
- Technical background, troubleshooting, problem solving skills
- Master’s degree in business or healthcare administration from an accredited institution
