The IT Business Analyst leads departments in continuous improvement of their IT systems and processes through problem solving and issue resolution. Completes business requirement templates for various projects in order to help distinguish solutions.
The IT Business Analyst will:
- Develop and maintain reports using SSRS, Power BI, and Excel to support business operations.
- Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Extract, clean, and analyze data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Create Power BI dashboards with interactive visuals and meaningful KPIs.
- Build SQL queries to pull and manipulate data for reporting purposes.
- Automate and optimize reporting processes to improve efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and troubleshoot reporting issues as needed.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making.
- Document Reporting processes, data sources, and business logic for reference.
Education and Experience
- BS Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related area.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be considered insurable by the current CBC/CTS insurance provider.
- Minimum 1 year’s programming/analyst experience.
