Medical Graft Technician (Birth Tissue) - 2nd Shift

The Medical Graft Technician:

• Ensure allograft tissue is accurately processed, measured, labeled, packaged, and documented in a timely manner.
• In conjunction with Quality Control, responsible for operating and ensuring processing equipment is in good working order.
• Traditional Processing equipment includes, but is not limited to, band saws, drills, scissors, scalpels.
• Specialty Processing equipment includes, but is not limited to, skin mesher's, TMI bone grinding equipment and vacuum sealers.
• Accurately monitor time-sensitive processes with regard to allograft tissue manufacturing.
• Assist in orientation and training of new employees as assigned.
• Complete assigned tasks in the processing area in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions.
• Must be guided by the highest level of integrity and people-centered care.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Environment/Physical Activities:

• Requires heavy lifting, continuous levels of standing and is physically demanding.
• Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.
• Requires good eye-hand coordination skills.
• Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
