The Medical Graft Technician:
- Ensure allograft tissue is accurately processed, measured, labeled, packaged, and documented in a timely manner.
- In conjunction with Quality Control, responsible for operating and ensuring processing equipment is in good working order.
- Traditional Processing equipment includes, but is not limited to, band saws, drills, scissors, scalpels.
- Specialty Processing equipment includes, but is not limited to, skin mesher's, TMI bone grinding equipment and vacuum sealers.
- Accurately monitor time-sensitive processes with regard to allograft tissue manufacturing.
- Assist in orientation and training of new employees as assigned.
- Complete assigned tasks in the processing area in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Regular attendance is an essential function of all positions.
- Must be guided by the highest level of integrity and people-centered care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Requires heavy lifting, continuous levels of standing and is physically demanding.
- Some areas of Manufacturing may require the ability to work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields.
- Requires good eye-hand coordination skills.
- Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
