Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Summer School Teachers to join our team. As a Summer School Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' educational journey during the summer break. This is a temporary position that offers valuable teaching experience and the chance to work with students in a supportive and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational goals
- Provide instruction in various subjects, with a focus on math and literacy education
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop engaging educational activities
- Provide individualized support and tutoring to students as needed
- Implement behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or currently pursuing a degree)
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting (e.g., tutoring, daycare, childcare)
- Strong knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives
Note: This is a paid position.

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour
