Assist clinicians / staff in managing caseload demands, meeting productivity, assuring all documentation is completed according to Center policy, state regulations, and Joint Commission standards. Conducting performance reviews and making disciplinary recommendations to Clinical Services Director. Responsible for coordination of the Traumatic Loss Coalition of Somerset County and all functions outlined in contractual agreement. Carries a caseload. Evening hours required.Essential Functions
- Provides face to face direct service at 25% of weekly hours.
- Provides clinical and administrative supervision in accordance with agency guidelines.
- Accountable for clinicians meeting productivity demands.
- Participates in conducting and writing of performance evaluations.
- Facilitate and attends disposition meeting and present cases to the multidisciplinary team for assignment.
- Documents all clinical activity and correspondence in accordance with Center policy, state regulations, and Joint Commission standards.
- Must engage in continuing education to maintain and develop clinical skills, meet agency competency standards, and satisfy requirements for ongoing licensure.
- Submit monthly report to Clinical Services Director, stakeholders, and funders of your programs
- Coordination of the Traumatic Loss Coalition
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Assumes responsibilities and tasks of person(s) reporting to this position
- Preforms other duties as assigned by management.Essential Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or equivalent from an accredited graduate program.
- Possess a valid NJ Clinical License (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in good standing
- 5 years post-masters experience in direct clinical practice and 2 years supervisory experience.
- Certification as a clinical supervisor in your discipline
- Supervisory potential should be evident in terms of ability to conceptualize clinical and administrative aspects of agency based mental health services, and to manage the complexities of various hierarchical relationships.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid NJ Driver's License in good standing.
- Skill in the operation of office equipment, including but not limited to computers, printers, copiers, calculators, and other job specific equipment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with colleagues, coworkers, vendors, contractors, and the public.
- Ability to accurately prepare and maintain files, records, reports, and logs.
- Skill in using computer applications including electronic health record, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software.
- Ability to identify and maintain confidential information.
- Ability to comprehend, express and exchange information in English over the phone, in person, in writing or through other communication or electronic devices.Preferred Qualifications
- Lived experience in mental health and / or substance use disorders and in recovery.
- Additional professional certifications or Licenses (CADC, LCADC)
- Post-master's degree in family therapy or related mental health field.
- Bilingual ability (Spanish / English) and sensitivity to working with culturally diverse populations.
