Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel to Branches, realtor offices, customer and other locations in order to conduct business.
- Evaluate and recommend most appropriate type of loan for the customer.
- Take mortgage application at the applicant’s home/office or in one of the Bank’s offices.
- See that solicited loans are handled in a timely manner and assists Originations Department staff in gathering information to ensure the loans can close as promptly as possible.
- Solicit mortgage business from banks current customer based and outside sources; i.e. realtors, attorneys, title companies, and other outside events.
- Participate in community affairs to increase the Bank’s visibility and enhances new business opportunities.
- Maintain current knowledge of and ability to explain Somerset Regal Bank mortgage products and underwriting guidelines.
- Maintain current knowledge of all position related procedures and compliance.
- Proficiently read, write and speak the English Language.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Three years’ experience in domestic mortgage sales and knowledge of loan programs and lending policies.
College degree preferred. Working knowledge of Encompass preferred. Will transfer or obtain valid MLO license upon hire.
