Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a smile and provide exceptional customer service
- Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and examine checks for endorsements
- Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances
- Enter customers' transactions into the computer to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts
- Balance currency, coin, and checks in the cash drawer at end of shift and compare totaled amounts with data displayed on the computer screen
- Recognize opportunities to explain, promote, or sell financial products or services offered by the bank
- Remove deposits from and count and balance cash in and night depository
- Accept loan payments
- Resolve customers' issues as they arise
