What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Coordinator position at Somic America?
Plans, coordinates, and directs training and staff development programs to achieve company goals in environmental compliance, safety, quality, production, and continuous improvement. Participates and assists in safety related functions. Provides directions for ensuring compliance and certification for the Safety Program and Environmental Management System (EMS). Directs the company to maintain ISO 14001 certification and to adhere to ISO 14001 requirements.
*Not required but a plus* Ability to manage and creating training Dojo activities for the Brewer Facility by formulating training programs, maintaining records and scheduling and implementing trainings, based on knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services.
