What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspection Clerk position at Sonaca North America?
Role: INSPECTION CLERK
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Create customer FAIR off internal FAIR
- Create and upload Net Inspect information
- Fill out customer provided inspection check list
- Communicated with customers to make sure requirements are being met
- Understanding customer requirements
- Work well with other departments both internal and external to Engineering
- Communicate with internal employees to ensure customer needs are met
- Read and understand work order requirements.
- Available to work overtime when required, including weekends
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or High School Equivalency required.
- Ability to read and comprehend American English is required.
- Must have computer/keyboard knowledge.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions is required.
- Attention to detail is required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Demonstrates attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to identify and resolve problems
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
- Initiative/self-motivation
- Ability to complete multiple tasks within the required time frame in a highly interactive environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Always here and on time
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time. Must be able to move throughout the manufacturing area and talk, hear or otherwise communicate with employees, management and others.
Work Environment: Normal work environment requires individual to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when on the shop floor
