We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Spravato Coordinator to join our team at our Minnetonka clinic! This is an in-office position and cannot be completed remotely. The Spravato Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating the administration of Spravato (esketamine) treatments for patients suffering from treatment-resistant depression. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient care and safety. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of insurance billing processes, effective interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial screenings, including reviewing medical history and current medications, to assess patients' eligibility for Spravato treatment.
• Educate patients on the treatment process, including the administration, potential side effects, and benefits of Spravato treatment.
• Schedule new patient intake appointments with the Spravato physician and manage the intake process.
• Perform benefits investigations and provide out-of-pocket estimates for patients.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for prior authorizations, appeals, benefits, and contract issues.
• Obtain necessary releases of information (ROIs) and records from patients.
• Set up and manage payment plans for patients.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments according to Spravato treatment plan.
• Ensure proper preparation and administration of Spravato in accordance with clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Monitor patients during and after treatment for any adverse effects or reactions, including taking patient vitals throughout treatment.
• Document treatment sessions, progress notes, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide ongoing support and follow-up to patients to monitor progress and address any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines related to Spravato administration.
• Work closely with healthcare providers, including physicians and therapists, to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assist in the development and implementation of treatment protocols and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate program performance, including patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Organize and attend team and department meetings as needed.
• Oversee inventory and procurement of Spravato and related supplies.
• Report to the Operations Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Applicant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is highly desirable.

• Must possess a fundamental understanding of insurance billing processes, including knowledge of copays, coinsurance, and patient responsibility.
• Proficient computer experience with the ability to learn new applications and work processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the job.
• High level of professionalism and demonstrated comfort level in speaking directly to patients, providers, and other staff.
• Must be dependable, work well with others, and have a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
