We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Spravato Coordinator to join our team at our Minnetonka clinic! This is an in-office position and cannot be completed remotely. The Spravato Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating the administration of Spravato (esketamine) treatments for patients suffering from treatment-resistant depression. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to patient care and safety. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of insurance billing processes, effective interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial screenings, including reviewing medical history and current medications, to assess patients' eligibility for Spravato treatment.
- Educate patients on the treatment process, including the administration, potential side effects, and benefits of Spravato treatment.
- Schedule new patient intake appointments with the Spravato physician and manage the intake process.
- Perform benefits investigations and provide out-of-pocket estimates for patients.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for prior authorizations, appeals, benefits, and contract issues.
- Obtain necessary releases of information (ROIs) and records from patients.
- Set up and manage payment plans for patients.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments according to Spravato treatment plan.
- Ensure proper preparation and administration of Spravato in accordance with clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Monitor patients during and after treatment for any adverse effects or reactions, including taking patient vitals throughout treatment.
- Document treatment sessions, progress notes, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up to patients to monitor progress and address any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines related to Spravato administration.
- Work closely with healthcare providers, including physicians and therapists, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of treatment protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, including patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Organize and attend team and department meetings as needed.
- Oversee inventory and procurement of Spravato and related supplies.
- Report to the Operations Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Applicant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is highly desirable.

- Must possess a fundamental understanding of insurance billing processes, including knowledge of copays, coinsurance, and patient responsibility.
- Proficient computer experience with the ability to learn new applications and work processes.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the job.
- High level of professionalism and demonstrated comfort level in speaking directly to patients, providers, and other staff.
- Must be dependable, work well with others, and have a positive attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
