The Dietary Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the dietary services program in adherence to SonderBloom policies, federal and state regulations, and food quality standards. Their role includes providing leadership, support, and guidance to ensure compliance with inventory management, food safety protocols, and customer service expectations. They are also responsible for maintaining records of finances, supplies, personnel, and equipment, and reporting to the SonderBloom Regional Operations Manager. They are accountable for staff training, quality control, and department inservicing to uphold SonderBloom standards and foster a professional environment.

- Conduct interviews, hire and onboard dietary staff for the department.
- Maintain optimal staffing levels and create schedules for all dietary staff.
- Supervise, coordinate, and evaluate the performance of all dietary services
- employees.
- Foster employee engagement by championing SonderBloom’s Mission, Values, Culture, and Company recognition programs.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/WORK EXPERIENCE: QUALIFICATIONS: personnel supervision.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES safety/sanitation requirements. technology programs, word processing programs, and spreadsheet software. Acceptable minimum equivalent experience in place of degree: 2 years
The Dietary Services Manager should possess the following: such as Microsoft Word and spreadsheet software like Excel as well as food safety/sanitation requirements and procedures.to clients and residents. Computer software: Proficient in or ability to become proficient within the first 3 months in using computer software, including but not limited to: E-mail, Food Service management technology programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Machine operation: Copier, fax, calculator, computer, and other office equipment; all standard kitchen equipment from industrial ovens to utensils. Special training: Please refer to dietary training manual.
