Summary
- Hours : Mon-Fri 10am-2pm. Manager is flexible with start / end time, but it needs to be consistent and clearly communicated.
- This is a part-time temp position. It may become permanent with Vallen, but the hours will be part time.
- This position will be loading / unloading vending machines in the warehouse.
- There are 10 vending machines and several POU area's in the warehouse.
- Need someone punctual, reliable, and dependable.
- Some computer knowledge needed, will use a scanner to order materials to restock storeroom
- Will lift up to 50# on occasion unassisted.
- Will use push cart to transport materials from crib to vending machines.
- Site is in process of trying to acquire a John Deere Gator / golf cart to move items around plant. Must be willing to learn how to operate Gator if the candidate does not have previous experience.
- Steel toe shoes with internal metatarsals strongly preferred. If no metatarsals, steel toe shoes are okay and metatarsal covers will be provided.
- Warehouse in not temp controlled. It can get hot in the summer.
- Dress code : pants / khakis (no shorts). T-shirt or polo / collared shirt.
- Noisy environment, ear protection required. Will be provided
PLEASE NOTE : While this is listed as a VMI position, the associate will NOT be driving a vehicle.
