Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement dynamic, brand-aligned programming and partnerships that boost awareness, drive traffic, and increase revenue, while executing brand-wide initiatives at the hotel level.
- Design and manage local sustainability and community-focused programs and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the food and beverage team and partners to develop strategies and programs that drive traffic and revenue to F&B outlets for both hotel guests and external customers.
- Partner with the corporate marketing team to oversee PR and influencer agencies, securing favorable publicity for the hotel and brand at local, regional, national, and global levels.
- Assess media and influencer requests, obtain necessary approvals, coordinate reservations, communicate with hotel and corporate teams, and act as a brand ambassador during visits or stays.
- Write and edit content for internal and external communications, including websites, advertisements, marketing/sales materials, and presentations.
- Work with the corporate marketing team to manage creative resources for developing marketing and sales materials, ensuring all creative elements receive necessary approvals.
- Oversee photo and video shoots on property, both hotel-arranged and third-party (paid or media/partner). Manage location agreements, insurance, rights agreements, and releases.
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to develop marketing strategies and offers that align with pricing and distribution strategies across all channels, including CRO, OTA, and GDS.
- Ensure owned and third-party websites and apps are up to date with accurate hotel offerings, hours, and information, while optimizing user experience through language, imagery, and design.
- Work with the corporate digital marketing team to incorporate hotel content into brand emails, send hotel-specific marketing emails, and maintain transactional communications.
- Collaborate with the corporate digital marketing team and social media agency on hotel content creation and community management.
- Assist in the implementation of the company’s CRM and loyalty programs at the hotel level.
- Partner with the sales and catering teams to create materials, initiatives, and offers that support each target segment’s goals.
- Support the people operations team with brand training and internal brand initiatives, ensuring all departments meet and exceed brand standards.
- Represent the hotel and brand professionally at community and industry events and organizations.
- Maintain the marketing calendar, prepare regular reports (weekly, monthly, yearly), and participate in meetings and calls with marketing, sales, and revenue teams.
- Communicate marketing news and updates to the hotel team and post content internally.
- Monitor the competitive landscape, regional news, events, and industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, bringing new ideas and sharing relevant insights with the hotel and corporate marketing teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Hospitality and Tourism Management.
- Proven experience in hotel marketing or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and online booking platforms.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and bringing experiences to life.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Collaborative approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, restaurant/hotel partners, and external stakeholders.
- Experience using the following tools/platforms: WordPress, Koddi, Canva, Adobe InDesign.
