Description:
The Assistant Manager role is a salaried, year-round position that assists the GM / Director of Golf in managing daily operations and supervision / management of all Clubhouse, Outside Service & Food / Beverage staff. An exemplary commitment to customer service and maintaining a positive, helpful working environment is paramount to fulfilling the duties of this position.
Candidate Work Experience / Education:
- Minimum 2-3 years in golf shop operations. Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Golf Instruction / Player Development experience preferred.
- College degree preferred, not required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing multiple facets of golf operations, including the supervision and assisting in the training of Clubhouse staff, Outside Service staff (Cart Attendants, Starters, Rangers) to ensure the highest quality of service.
- Assist GM / Director of Golf with Golf Event operations (Outings, Club Events & Leagues).
- Assist in Point-of-Sale updates and maintenance as needed.
- Conduct summer Junior Golf program (Beginner & Intermediate lessons; Junior League).
- Maintain WSGA Handicap system for Members & public golfers.
- Assist GM / Director of Golf in coordinating activities with other departments (Food/Bev. Services & Course Superintendent).

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
