Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in recruiting to join our Human Resources team. This role will support a wide range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people, a proactive mindset, and the ability to drive recruitment strategies while supporting broader HR initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, and interviewing
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on job descriptions and hiring processes.
- Maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS) and ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding, orientation, and training sessions.
- Ensure a smooth offboarding process including exit interviews and documentation as needed.
HR Operations & Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist in handling employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Support performance management processes including evaluations and goal setting.
Compliance & HR Administration:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records and HRIS systems.
- Assist with audits, reports, and HR metrics as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 years of HR experience, with a strong emphasis on recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Solid understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Teamwork orientation.
- Organized and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
