Job Details
Soni's client is seeking an Application Engineer whose primary focus will be ensuring the stability, availability, and supportability of the Firm's Enterprise application stack. This person will work closely with the Enterprise Applications Manager, Accounting, Marketing, Records, and other firm personnel to ensure all applications run optimally and without interruption. Good communication, technical and analytical skills are required, with a heavy focus on Windows Server and SQL (querying, reporting in SSIS and other tools, maintenance, documentation, and upgrades). Some programming knowledge would be a 'nice to have,' but expert knowledge is not required.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Proficiency in SQL Administration and Reporting (SSRS)
Advanced knowledge of SQL for data queries and database management.
Expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for creating and managing reports.
2. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, Specifically Elite 3E
Hands-on experience with Elite 3E SQL database schema or the ability to quickly learn it.
Knowledge of Elite 3E Templates, Workspace, BizTalk, and Elite Application Framework is highly desirable.
3. Technical Expertise in Application and Platform Administration
Proficient in administering Windows Server environments.
Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD authentication and integration.
Competence in managing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data integration tasks.
4. Proficiency in Programming and Scripting Languages
Proficient in PowerShell, C#, Visual Basic .Net, HTML5, or other relevant programming languages.
Experience with XML/XSLT transformations for data manipulation and integration.
5. Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Communication Skills
Excellent analytical skills to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Superior verbal and written communication skills for documenting processes and conveying project statuses.
