What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of FP&A position at Soni?
The Director of FP&A works closely with key operational leaders in multiple teams to analyze business functions and their impact on regional and global P&L. They critically assess regional operations, seeking opportunities for P&L and finance process improvements. The role includes developing and maintaining historical P&L analysis and key performance indicators, performing revenue, FTM, pricing, and volume variance analyses, and leading month-end scorecard and foreign currency analyses. They create financial models for decision support on special projects and present financial forecasts and results to non-financial audiences. Additionally, the Director assists with budget presentations for the Executive team and Board of Directors, provides ad hoc reporting for senior executives, and oversees the monthly forecast and annual plan process for North America, partnering with sales leadership. They also contribute to three-year strategic planning and design and implement process improvements in budgeting and forecasting.
