A prestigious international Law Firm, known for its collaborative and professional atmosphere is seeking a Meeting Planner. The position will be filled on a long-term, project basis. Candidates will interface with staff, lawyers, vendors, and clients, and play a crucial role in the Firm's meeting and events department. The position provides a candidate the opportunity to be a key part of the Firm's events and conference center administrative community.
Responsibilities:
- Event Planning Management: Collaborate with firm partners and staff to plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of meetings and events, handling high volumes and last-minute requests.
- Technology Utilization: Use conference booking systems to streamline logistics and communicate with other departments.
- Vendor and Department Coordination: Negotiate with external and internal vendors to secure necessary services, including catering and AV.
- Menu Curation: Work with the on-site catering team to curate diverse menus.
- Client Guest Relations: Act as the primary contact for clients, providing exceptional hospitality service and conducting post-event evaluations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business, or a related field, with 2 years of proven experience in event planning or a similar role.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact confidently with clients and senior leadership.
- Proficiency in event management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
Compensation: $27-$33/ Hour
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
