Job Summary
The Summer Retail Internship Program is intended to offer meaningful work experience to promising college and high school students. Students participate in a 12-week job-rotational work study program. At the end of the paid Program, students will answer a brief questionnaire about how the dealership’s customers are marketed to, offered choices, treated with respect and whether the dealership has earned the customer’s respect. Interns will also offer suggestions on how the dealership can better appeal to first-time car buyers.
Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of various department managers, perform duties as assigned
- Job assignments may involve washing vehicles, driving vehicles on dealership property, warehouse shipping and receiving, answering guest requests via phone and email, assisting guests as needed
- Treat your co-workers with respect
- Follow-through on all assignments as directed by your supervisor
- Work in a responsible and safe manner
- Current valid driver’s license
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Ability to maintain proper attendance as instructed by your supervisor
