Location : Birmingham, Alabama
Hours : 4 : 00 am - 12 : 30 am
Days : Monday - Friday
Full Time / Benefit Eligible
In this role, you will :
- Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure prepared histology slides are sorted, packaged, and ready for courier pickup.
- Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions (i.e. incorrectly coverslipped slides, broken slides, missing slides, incomplete cases, etc.)
- Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
- Effectively communicate with a team of healthcare professionals
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
