Fire Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Nevada "F" card, with a strong background in installation, servicing and testing of fire monitoring systems. If this is you, we want to speak to you.

Duties (Include but may not be limited to)

• Install, maintain, and service /repair fire monitoring systems.
• Conduct thorough monthly inspections of systems to ensure compliance with all NFPA and local regulations.
• Perform inspections, troubleshoot and diagnose any problems.
• Service, repair and ensure systems are in working order
• Ensure all installation, repairs and service, meet all local and state codes, as well as National codes that may apply.
• Write and submit impairments.
• Oversee and direct helpers and/or installers with fire.

Education and/or Experience (Min requirements)

• Nevada "F" Card Required (Active and in good standing)
• Proven history of testing fire systems installation/testing and understanding NFPA Codes
• Understanding of Fire System layouts and upgrade codes a plus
• Understanding of NICET or having a NICET I or II is a strong plus

Computer Skills

• Basic computer skills; experience working with laptop and/or iPad.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to obtain a Sherriff license , pass all background checks
• Valid NV drivers license and clean driving history.
• Must be able to communicate professional and accurately both in written and spoken format
• Professional and self driven
• Able to work both as part of a team and independently
• Strong time management
• Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Must be fluent in English /Spanish a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
