What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Installation Technician position at Sonitrol Security?
Sonitrol of Louisville has been a leader in the security industry for over 50 years. Due to our continued growth, we have a position for a Security System Installer with a positive attitude and direct industry experience. We’re looking for full time employees, working from 7:30-4:30 M-F, installing security systems.
We provide commercial solutions for access control, fire, CCTV, and intrusion systems. No security industry experience necessary, but candidates must have the ability to work with power tools, work on a ladder/lift, and be good working with their hands.
Job Requirements:
· Experience with power hand tools and working from a ladder/lift
· Ability to run wire and hang devices in a commercial environment
· Must have strong work ethic and be able to be at work on time
· Have valid driver’s license
· Participate in service on-call rotation with other technicians
· Be flexible to weekend/2nd shift work and occasional out-of-town installs
· Be able to follow directions and work independently and in a team setting
· Strong computer skills with the ability to work on client networks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
