Position Summary :
The Event Staff is responsible for preparing the banquet area from start to finish through an event. The Event Staff is also responsible for keeping a clean work environment and providing excellent customer service to our guests. Night, weekend, and holiday availability is a must.
Your Role :
- Act as a representative of Sonny's Place to the team as well as the guests.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly facility (i.e. workstations, restrooms, tables, etc.)
- Setting up and breaking down seating / dining areas, buffet tables as well as supplies according to the banquet event order
- Serves and replenishes buffet food.
- Maintain all food and safety guidelines.
- Communicate with the Banquet Supervisor on guests' needs and company standards.
- Handles challenging guest service conversations to company standards
- Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.
