Sonoma Chocolatiers is looking for a new team member. We’ve been voted Best Chocolatier in Sonoma County for 16 years. We’re looking for someone who can work at this level to help us build on our momentum and expand our chocolate and tea business. Only a bit of experience is required, and an interest in learning new skills.
The position involves every function in the shop, including: greeting and serving customers; be a tea barista as needed; make simple pastries; wash dishes and general cleaning; open/close the store; share our story with customers and educate them on chocolate and tea.
We want staff who naturally convey intelligence, energy, & integrity; who practice clear communication and have the ability to function in a dynamic environment. We believe that the work place should be a place where one can grow professionally, financially, and individually.
Applicants must demonstrate an ease in a kitchen (either home or commercial) in baking, and an interest/experience in chocolate making is a bonus but not necessary. Please do not apply if you have not worked in food service for at least 6 months.
