Pay rate: $17.87-$24/hour (based on experience)
This position is part-time. A flexible schedule to include mornings and mid-day desirable.

Our lifeguards ensure the pools and surrounding deck areas are safe and respond to emergencies that may occur. They create a welcoming atmosphere for all individuals and promote safety amongst users.
Successful candidates for this position possess the following skills-
- Strong sense of responsibility and focus.
- Supportive of diversity and inclusion in all interactions.
- Confident communication.
- Ability to stay calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
- Maintain certification level physical and mental readiness.
Minimum Qualifications-
- Minimum 15 years of age.
- Required certification-American Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard Certificate, American Red Cross First Aid for the Public Safety Personnel (Title 22), and American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certificate.
- Fingerprint clearance from both Department of Justice (DOJ) & FBI, which includes sex offender screening.
Preferred Qualifications-
- Significant knowledge of swimming/aquatics.
- A desire to also teach swim lessons.
- Language skills in Spanish
