Job Title: Laboratory Technician
This is a part-time, 24 hours/week daytime position in Brush, CO. The successful candidate will perform waived and non-waived tests in an accurate and timely manner with supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform testing according to established policies and performance standards.
- Recognize and ensure validity of abnormal patient and/or QC results for testing.
- Ensure accuracy of test results and promote quality.
- Manage supplies and materials efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
- Equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the CLIA regulation.
- Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy (departments where applicable).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- MLT certification (ASCP, AMT, HEW, AAB).
- Basic knowledge of specimen requirements and medical terminology.
- Previous experience with phlebotomy and processing.
