Wray Community District Hospital seeking Full Time Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), ASCP certified with one year experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
Job Duties : The MLS or MLT performs medical laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses to provide data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease, conducts chemical analyses of body fluids, such as blood, urine, and spinal fluid, to determine presence of normal and abnormal components. Studies blood cells, their numbers, and morphology, using microscopic technique. Performs blood group, type, and compatibility tests for transfusion purposes. Analyzes test results and enters findings in computer. Must be physically able to assist lifting patients, medical equipment, etc. Frequent standing, lifting, stooping, reaching, stretching. Requires good verifiable work history with references and team player attitude.
Hourly compensation wage :
Medical Lab Technician ASCP Certified : $27.03 - $45.74
Medical Laboratory Technologist : $23.73 - $35.05
