We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Talent Acquisition & Development to lead our recruitment efforts, develop creative strategies for attracting and retaining exceptional employees, and support business development goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills, along with a strong ability to drive initiatives that will grow and enhance our talent pool while improving overall business performance.
Position Overview:
The Head of Talent Acquisition & Development will oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, employee development, onboarding, benefits administration, and business development strategies. You will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from posting job ads to onboarding new hires. You will work closely with leadership to identify, and address hiring needs, create recruitment marketing strategies, and continuously improve our talent acquisition processes. You will also help improve business performance tools and represent the company at conferences and networking events to enhance our employer brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage the full recruitment process, including posting job ads, sourcing qualified candidates, and screening resumes.
  • Coordinate interviews with individuals and hiring panels and communicate feedback with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Work with leadership and hiring managers to understand organizational hiring needs and create effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
  • Create and maintain job descriptions, ensuring alignment with company needs and market trends.
  • Develop and implement recruitment marketing strategies to effectively attract and retain top talent, showcasing the company as an employer of choice.
  • Attend job fairs, conferences, and other recruiting events to increase the company’s visibility and presence in relevant markets.
Onboarding & Pre-Hire Setup:
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition from offer acceptance to their first day.
  • Coordinate pre-hire set-up, including paperwork, benefits enrollment, and equipment needs.
  • Ensure new employees have the resources and support needed to succeed on their first day and beyond.
Benefits Administration:
  • Administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and timely enrollment or changes.
  • Act as a liaison for employees with questions about their benefits options and coverage.
  • Continuously evaluate benefits offerings to remain competitive and aligned with employee needs.
Business Development & Performance:
  • Contribute to the company’s business development by aligning talent strategies with growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to forecast hiring needs based on business expansion and growth projections.
  • Work on improving business performance tools, systems, and processes to enhance the overall efficiency of recruitment and employee development efforts.
Administrative Duties:
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, draft interview questions, and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, and benefits management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the broader talent development initiatives of the company.
Social Media & Employer Branding:
  • Manage the company’s social media presence related to recruitment, creating engaging content that showcases the company’s culture and job openings.
  • Develop strategies to enhance the company’s employer brand, ensuring it reflects the values and opportunities of the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 5 years of direct recruiting experience, managing all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Proven experience with proactive sourcing tactics and a demonstrated ability to attract top-performing talent.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with leadership and hiring managers.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration, employee engagement strategies, and improving business performance tools.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment marketing strategies, social media recruiting, and employer branding.
  • Ability to travel for job fairs, conferences, and other networking events as needed.
