What You’ll Do
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $23.29 - $26.66/ hr. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as the administrative point person for Sony Music Publishing Roster (NY, LA, GA)
- Obtain song information from writers and their representatives for delivery to copyright department (including writer/split information, audio, lyrics, sample and release details)
- Research and resolve split disputes and counterclaims.
- Partner with Business Affairs to communicate contractual issues to writers and writer representatives.
- Respond to administrative inquiries from writers, managers, attorneys in a timely manner.
- Liaise with Nashville, New York, Miami and foreign affiliate offices to resolve registration and mechanical licensing issues.
- Liaise with Worldwide Film/TV departments to confirm publishing claims and expedite synchronization licensing.
- Oversee the workflow of the outstanding request to our songwriters.
- Manage and distribute the weekly Mediabase Chart reports.
- Assist with research and matching songs in our copyright system for the Chart Activity Reports.

- Demonstrates ability to deliver consistently high quality and professional customer service to both internal and external customers.
