Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Vice President, Human Resources

FLSA Status: Exempt/Salary

SUMMARY

Work closely with the Vice President of Human Resources in administering policies, procedures, benefits, and achieving the objectives of the department and SOR.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years related experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENTS

  • Tracks hiring process from job requisitions, posting job openings, coordinating with recruiters, setting up interviews, follow-up with candidates, sending offer letters, setting up all background checks.
  • Assist with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS.
  • Assist in the administration of benefits, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. .
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees.
  • Facilitates and leads company activities.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • All other functions/responsibilities assigned by manager.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • None.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Must be very organized and able to adjust to constantly changing agendas and deadlines.
  • Requires the ability to work on multiple projects at once.
  • Strong writing and communications skills are essential.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Basic math: the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, and decimals.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The majority of work will be spent in an office environment. Also required to be in Manufacturing.

REQUIRED TRAINING

All required training is determined by the department supervisor and/or manager. Procedures critical to this position can be identified as such on the Department Training Matrixes which are located in the Human Resources Department.
