Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Program Management Professional to oversee sales strategies, manage programs, and drive business growth. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, launching new products, and building strong customer relationships. You will also support engineering adaptations of products and services to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify current and future customer business requirements through direct communication with customers.
- Develop new business opportunities and strengthen relationships under the direction of the Senior Sales & Program Manager and President.
- Establish and manage accounts, plan sales schedules, and provide product and engineering information.
- Prepare cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, plans, and customer requirements in consultation with engineers.
- Analyze cost-benefit ratios and recommend equipment, process, or material improvements.
- Gain customer acceptance by demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvements.
- Create and maintain customer visit reports, sales records, and strategy reports.
- Report sales activities, projections, and program statuses to Senior Management.
- Evaluate product performance and cost-reduction opportunities, implementing actionable solutions.
- Gather and analyze competitive information to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline.
- Experience: 1–3 years in sales, program management, or the automotive industry.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
- Leadership skills and the capacity for proactive problem-solving.
- Travel: Willingness to travel locally, out-of-state, and internationally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish preferred.
- Extensive understanding of automotive component development processes.
- Proven success in OEM sales and negotiation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
