SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an Enterprise Business Analyst to join the Office of the CTO in supporting critical business process improvement and systems analysis initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in translating business needs into technical requirements, process mapping, and strategic planning.
Essential Job Duties
- Develop and document business requirements for development teams
- Streamline documentation processes for builds to ensure alignment with business priorities
- Analyze and categorize business capabilities for reusable code/capabilities
- Integrate business process mapping across various programs
- Identify inefficiencies in business processes and propose solutions
- Create and apply prioritization frameworks (impact vs. effort)
- Support technology roadmap development
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related discipline or equivalent practical experience
- Five (5) or more years of experience in business analysis or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience with process mapping and improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
Work Environment
- Part-time, on-call position (PTOC)
- Location: Reston, VA
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment
- Fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
- No security clearance required
