SOS Site Services seeks a Field Manager to oversee landscape maintenance and snow removal work on 130 properties across Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson counties. This role is a full-time, year-round position.


The Field Manager works closely with the ACM’s and COO to organize maintenance work that includes mowing, pruning, property clean-ups, fertilization, weed control, trimming, edging, snow removal (plowing and shoveling), and more. The Field Manager is responsible for directing the foremen of six to eight crews during the landscape season and 10–20 drivers during the snow removal season.


Compensation will be determined by experience.


Responsibilities

  • Communicate daily and weekly goals to work crews
  • Communicate and maintain the safety and presentation of work crews both in the shop and in the field
  • Schedule, track, and keep records of maintenance projects across 130 properties
  • Integrate and respond to unforeseen circumstances, including inclement weather, etc. while in the field
  • Recruit and interview potential employees
  • Coordinate with the chief operating officer and account management team to ensure timely, high-quality project completion
  • Inspect work completed at client properties and ensure efficient and workmanlike standards are held by all crews

Qualifications

  • Proficient in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
  • Proven management experience in the landscaping industry
  • Experience and familiarity with landscaping industry standards
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Experience driving a trailer with equipment
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)


Physical Requirements

This position requires an ability to manage and participate in hands-on work in the field. While performing the duties of this job, this employee may be asked to:

  • Lift 50 pounds without assistance
  • Bend, stretch, kneel, crouch, reach, push and pull, pinch, grab, kneel, and lean over
  • Walk long distances, walk over various terrains
  • Work in weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, snow, and sun
