Job description
We are looking for a motivated and fashion loving Retail Sales Associate/Shift Leader to join our team! As a Retail Sales Associate at our boutique, you will be responsible for welcoming customers and offering them assistance. Your duties as a Retail Sales Associate will also include operating cash registers and restocking/preparing merchandise for display to maintain a neat and visually inspiring boutique. In addition you will be responsible for managing a group of employees during your work shift. This is an opening for a self-motivated, energetic person who must be out going with the ability to talk to customers.
Retail Sales Associate duties and responsibilities
- Greeting Customers
- Responding to questions and giving information to customers
- Sharing product knowledge with customers
- Providing recommendations to customers
- Managing financial transactions and processing payments
- Preparing mechandise and designing displays
- Maintaining a clean and tidy space
- Assisting with inventory
- Handling customers complaints
- Processing newly received shipments
- Alerting management of potential security issues
- Creating a positive customer experience and work enviroment
Retail Sales Associate requirements and qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using POS systems
- General math skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Retail experience a plus
