- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.

- Client Relationship Management:
- Interact with clients to understand their catering requirements and preferences, providing expert guidance and suggestions. Conduct regular client meetings to understand their needs and preferences.
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally; while also ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Provide personalized catering solutions to meet clients' specific event requirements.
- Upsell catering services and explore opportunities to increase business from existing clients.
- Event Planning and Coordination:
- Work closely with clients to plan and coordinate catering events, including menu selection, pricing, and logistics.
- Oversee event setup, ensuring that all requirements are met and exceeded.
- Develop detailed event timelines, manage staff scheduling, and oversee event setup and breakdown to maintain efficiency and exceed client expectations.
- Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Work closely with the event planning team to ensure seamless execution of catering services at various events, such as weddings, corporate functions, parties, and conferences.
- Catering Operations Management:
- Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service to ensure exceptional quality and presentation.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to design innovative and diverse menus that meet the needs of various events and clients.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling practices.
- Cultivate collaborative, mutually supportive relationships with and among customers, community, sales office, and hotel staff.
- Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients.
- Distribute final Rooming Lists and Banquet Event Orders to all applicable service staff. including the Banquet Service Staff, the Food Preparation Staff, and the Rooms Division.
- Maintain client files and update information daily in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain guest satisfaction scores for the hotel and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure Revinate target (4.5 stars or higher) goals are met.
- Follow up with clients regularly during and after departure to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings.

Job Requirements
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and sales CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate client needs.
- Professional in appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to learn, understand, and work within POS, PMS, CRM, and other Hospitality-specific software systems.
- Must have the ability to resolve problems and/or conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Reports to the Convention Wedding Sales Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Sales, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in catering sales, preferably in the hospitality or food services industry.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull 50 lbs.
