Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine.
- A confident practitioner who is comfortable managing a broad spectrum of cases with limited specialist support.
Practice in the Heart of Vernal
- Flexible scheduling options include 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 14-hour night shifts from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., which are supported by a scheduling culture that accommodates personal and family emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver emergency care in a rural setting, managing diverse cases one hour from a Level 1 trauma center.
- Collaborate with specialists in pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, orthopedics, general surgery, neurology, PM&R, ENT, and ophthalmology.
- Treat an average patient volume of 600 per month across five providers, averaging 140 hours.
